MY UNDERSTANDING OF BASIC ECCLESIAL COMMUNITIES AND

Basic Ecclesial Communities as I understand them are who gather together in a particular community and who are basically poor and in need of help.  This is the general problem, and so I move in to meet with them in order to discuss and find out what they really need to help themselves. Their needs are varied, but in general those needs are understood as spiritual, developmental and liberational.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father

I was touched by the content of the module Mission and Migration presented by Sr. Ma. Teresa Mueda, DC.  It basically gave light to my past experience as an immigrant.

I was an immigrant moving from one place to another, moving from East Timor to the Philippines in 1999.

Yes, there are many names, approaches, and views on migration. What follows is my personal reflection and feeling on the subject.
